How It Works
Pre-Tuning Setup: Before tuning, your system must be fully installed and operational, with all speakers working and crossovers/routing properly configured. If you're using a non-VXI/MVI amplifier, manual gain adjustments will need to be made and connected to the VXI/MVI for optimal results. Detailed setup instructions are available upon request to ensure everything is in place.
Easy Appointment Scheduling: Once your system is ready, simply schedule an appointment, and I will log in remotely to complete the tuning. You’ll need to connect the Helix, Brax or Match DSP and a laptop with stable Wi-Fi and a reliable power supply.
Receive Tools & Equipment (If Needed): To ensure the best results, you’ll need a laptop for the tuning process, equipped with TeamViewer and the JL TuN software to communicate directly with your vehicle’s audio system. If you do not have a suitable laptop available, Total Tuning can provide one for an additional fee of $125.
Expert Tuning Process: During your scheduled appointment, I'll remotely access your system through TeamViewer to fine-tune your Helix, Brax or Match DSP, ensuring the highest sound quality possible for your specific setup. The result will be a fully optimized system, just like an in-person session, but with the added convenience of being remote.

I recently had a Basic tune and Total image completed by Jeffrey. The entire process was smooth and simple. I watched the setup videos prior to tuning as requested in the directions and it definitely made things easier. Jeffrey's tuning style, knowledge, and ability intrigued me. The accuracy of how he tunes was also really cool to see in person. Not only did I have a tune completed but I learned a lot along the way. Jeffrey takes the time during the tune to explain what and how things are happening which was an added bonus for me. The overall tune sounds great and the total image portion really locked the center image in!! I would highly recommend this to go along with the Basic tune as it makes quite the difference. There's plenty of volume to get loud and it's crystal clear while doing it. I would highly recommend using Jeffrey for your tuning needs, he's outstanding at what he does!
I recently had Jeffrey do a remote tune on my system (Helix) and he absolutely killed it! My system sounds amazing, and he really woke it up. It was already tuned by another well-known tuner and the difference is night and day. I was actually pretty disappointed and discouraged with the other tune because I spent a lot of money on equipment and invested a lot of my time to do the install and it honestly just wasn't very good. I was wondering what else I could've done better on the install, and I was also wondering how much more money it was going to cost me to get even better equipment to get the system I was looking for. I figured I had nothing to lose at this point and gave Total Tuning a shot and I'm glad I did. It sounds better than what I was expecting. The process and provided directions are really easy and straight forward, you just need a little common sense. Jeffrey will also be more than willing to walk you through any questions before the tune starts. Once again, I am beyond happy, and I feel like the investment was well worth it because I no longer feel like I need to invest anymore time or money on the system (for now)!
